G.H. Slater This is a rare bottle, this one is from my home town of Wells, unfortunately the transfer has be touched up but apart from that in mint condition. (I would like a perfect transfer one if anyone has one) There is also codds with the same pictorial. G.H Slater was later taken over by Scammell Bros. (below) I think G.H Slaters father was also in the drinks industry as there is also J Slater codds to find.

Scammell Bros. This is also a rare bottle and as it mentions two towns Wells and Frome, Scammell bros first operated in Frome there are Ginger beers with just Frome mentioned, from the embossing on a codd Scammels came to Wells when they took over G.H.Slater, as there is a codd that states 'Scammell bros Late G.H.Slater Wells and Frome'. Scammell bros operated in Sadler Street Wells.
